this was prince having a random moment this summer at the 2nd show of the north sea jazz festival(at the ahoy in the netherlands). as u couldn't tell where the sensual andy allo song "nothing more" ended & the sensual introduction 2 prince's "the love we make" began -the look on prince's face as he was making love playing the guitar with his eyes closed for 15 secs was priceless. the satisfying look on his face suggested in that moment, he was not playing 4 the sophisticated crowd at a legendary jazz festival, he was just a man amusing himself in a large room with no lights.

It was last year that I started to get into Prince. I already knew who he was when I was 5 or 6, which is about six years ago. When I saw the video for Kiss,which was last year, I finally realized how sexy he is. Even though I'm 12 and he's 53, I want him SO BADLY! It's also a little bit sad that I'm the taller one.

1 of my best moments was prince comming out 2 say hello in 1986 at Wembley Arena....eye was standing 2ft from him....This was b4 my 1st ever prince concert and eye was like.... ...

Then in 1988 again at Wembley Arena got 2 meet Cat/Miko/Boni Boyer when they came out 2 say hello.

Happy days...

In 86 he had on purple silky trousers on with matching purple top with belly showing,i remember his head being huge and looked far 2 big 4 his body....Then when he said hello and got in2 a conversation with a girl his voice was so deep...Eye will never 4get that day....The purple heels the way he walked like he owned the joint....how shy he looked yet hours later he was dancing ontop of that piano jumping off doing the splits...Fuck me what a day what a nite what a tour what a man....

But...he was such a BEYOND performer then still great now but back then he did splits, jumped off shit, singed his lungs out, aww man if only there was a time machine His voice is still a power house but you can't deny that he calmed himself on the dancing.

Eye miss the jumping off the piano,toe touching in mid air land do splits .......eye watch Montreux recently and All the critics love u in montreux is funky as hell but Prince jumping 2 houseQuake seemed such hard work 4 him....Eye no its not 86/87 but Damn back then Prince was wild....In 2011 he lets his guitar do the talking ....cool........But fuck do i miss the splits and groping the mike stand during Head...Its nice 2 reminisce Ruthcass...

Same here I basically listen to my cds, records, or my ipod! I NEVER listen to the radio anymore, I baiscally hear all that new crap from my sisters lol

I think those people don't want to give Prince a chance because they want to embrace newer performers that they can call their own, rather than established performers that are perceived as belonging to a prior generation of music fans.

They sure do! I have no idea why artists such as Lady Gaga are so popular, her music doesn't interest me in the least. As for male artists, there is nobody under the age of 40 that I would want to see in concert.

Finally found a copy of the Purple Rain concert. Just watched it. W...O...W.

The concert is just amazing, I sat there with my 4 yr old son (who watched the whole thing, 'Who's the girl?' he said. 'Her name is Wendy' I replied. He looked at me and simply said, 'O.k. you can be Wendy and I'll be Prince' ), a big smile on my face and butterflies in my stomach.

Prince just looks do damn fine around this time. Oh, and very strange noises were escaping my mouth when Darling Nicki came on and he just starts thrusting around the stage
