The running time was listed as 86 minutes, so chances are it's the same thing. Running time was approx the same on "The Glory Years". |

Amazon review:
ReviewsProduct DescriptionThe maverick, miniature musical genius that is Prince was at his height when the rest of the music world was mired in conformity, and his work from that time continues to astonish and amaze in equal measure. His 1980s masterpieces include 1999 , Purple Rain and Sign o the Times , a trio of albums featuring incredible sustained inventiveness and quality, out of a total of nine superb records released in this decade, during a torrent of productivity. Prince has of course continued to make remarkable albums and his sold-out shows at Londons O2 Arena in 2008 illustrate his continued relevance. But the albums he made and the shows he played in the 1980s remain and likely will always remain - the highest watermark of his career. Prince In The 1980s explores and reviews Princes work throughout the decade that launched him. Featuring contributions and analysis from friends, colleagues, fellow musicians and other notable figures, archive interviews with the man himself, rare and classic performances, liberal film footage and a host of other features, this programme is the premier overview and celebration of the music and influence of the man who has been known by a number of different monikers, but whom the world at large knows and loves as Prince.

Have been a prince fan now for about 25yrs and this dvd was a great look at how prince first started out to his rise to fame through the 80's.It was great to hear the opinions of people that have worked with him and others that just appreciate him for what he is and does within the music industry. In my opinion one of the finest singer song writers and musician we will ever see.
