Private Joy & Good Love i think some would agree that they are simalair in feel but i groove soo much to good love, but i think that PrivateJoy reely tops the bar by far i just love his poppy voice, and the never ending jumpy feel. and that guitar thing at the end is to die for!not to mention the grooving bass lick and also on good love i love the camille voice and its just a great feel good tune what do u think? do they compare? Good Love.
I like Private Joy, don't get me wrong.
But Good Love to me is the perfect pop song. Form its quirky lyrics, sped-up vocals, synth-laden instruments, and just all around strange feel, I find it charming through and through.
A Prince classic that deserved greater airplay, but unfortunately the world really wasn't ready.

Maybe, just maybe Camille will tour after Prince calms down. Maybe?

Good Love is one of my personal favourites. Every time it comes on I just start smiling.

Private Joy always did remind me of porn-movie music indeed, or otherwise of some cheesy tune from some -teen-movie from the eighties (it was indeed covered by Cheyenne on the soundtrack of 'Weird Science'.. lol).
Good live is quirky and poppy too, but in a bit more 'clever' way. I love the joyfull spirit of the lyrics, and the use of compressed samples of Gustav Mahlers music in the coda.
So i go with Good love.

"Good Love", the edited version. It's a really good track, although I'm not too fond of the keyboard sound.

If you like "Private Joy", check out "Kelly's Eyes" by Andre Cymone- both songs feature each singer name dropping himself, which I find hilarious. These are 2 of my all time favorites to come from the Minneapolis sound. Incredible hotness folks...

Good Love. I totally dig the funky quirkiness of it and Susannah's vocal harmonies all over the background.

Princevault doesn't mention Susannah (http://www.princevault.com/index.php/Good_LovePri). Anyway - I suppose Prince was the one who came up with the harmonies. The wooh is on the one!
