I still don't unerstand what I said that was smug. I answered the fucking question as best I could. Maybe I should have posted in Princebonics. Maybe I should have added some happy, happy sunshine gifs. Maybe I should just not post an answer to a question and just say "Is it so hard to search Google?".

You know, honestly I'm not on this site enough to be able to distinguish all of the regular posters well I think I may have confused you with another regular poster who does make really smug remarks in every thread where I've seen them comment Also...I had never heard of 'fun with vinyl vol 14' (or any other vol), and I thought you were mocking my question or something and implying that it was cheesy and basic So I do apologize....but it isn't like I said something terribly vicious in the first place It was really only meant to be kinda cheeky--like I thought you were being, and not offensive [Edited 10/5/11 6:23am]

Pants on fire.

Holy crap! You're Bart?!?!?!?!?!?!?

Well probably not, because you would have said, "Is it so hard to search Google? You people have to be the stupidest fans on the Internet."

to be more precise, all 3 versions of the song were put on proper albums (not talking live)

Easier Q - Prince toured with a former Mynah Bird singer ( Mynah birds had a young Neil Young in the band and this guy, whom is it?

hmm, maybe I would let If I Love U Tonight count, Mayte did it?, Prince may count who else Margie?

But that was not what I was thinking.

well done Dance, indeed Rick James was once in a band with Neil Young, as unlikely as it seems.

Giving time to think for Erik, hint is Everyday is a Winding Road, but that was just 2 artists (sheryl crow, Prince, they also worked together on at least 2 songs)

stumped sad wink

Correct answer was I Can't Make You Love Me, which was recorded by Bonnie Raitt (who worked with Prince on aborted album), covered by Prince on Emancipation, and also done instrumently as recorded by Candy Dulfer (who has toured with Prince extensively).

Tough trivia, as one assumes it would be a Prince-penned track and that at least one of the versions would be covered by a protege Prince act. Thanks Erik for participating.
