I dig Cream, Poom Poom, and Glam Slam....lol! I don't know if he has many that are annoying, just some REALLY bad ones! Annie Christian kinda annoys me for some reason.

Adonis and Bathsheba is one of the goofiest pieces of garbage I can remember.

Wedding Feast, Poom Poom, Number 1 and a few others come to mind.

Cream? It got over played but people seemed to like it a lot for the most part, so I wouldn't call it his worst, especially after listening to some of the other ones on this list.

The lyrics make me wanna barf , but musically, I love it! One of my favorites from the early years, actually.

He annoys me the most, when he is simply lazy on the composition front: songs like Space and a lot of those NPG music club songs... flat verses and non existing chorusses.

My second type of annoying songs is when he tries to go 'contemporary / bland R and B': Big white mansion, The greatest romance, Mr. Goodnight, Future Baby Mama, most songs on MPLsound and 20ten.

It just bland, boring music without any 'soul', something that R and B traditionally was about.

When eye go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all heart up in the house but when eye log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming!

I can't speak for others, but it seems to be the same old story about it being popular/overplayed. Raspberry Beret gets the same rap. Beret and Cream are still good songs, but (I think) people hate them because they're not Something In The Water or Dorothy Parker.

The thing about threads like this, is that they show how diverse Prince fans are.

We come from all over the world, with different backgrounds and tastes.

Some people love the ballads, while others like the rock-oriented songs. Then there are those who like the funk... and everything in-between.

We are all entitled to our opinions, but some people think that theirs are FACT. lol
