Hits written by Prince for other Artist? I know Prince has written songs for other artist like Chaka Khan's, etc.
Does he get paid something for writing songs like this that go on to be Hit?
And would know his Top 10 songs that fit this category? |

Okay, then I'd leave out The Sex Of It and 5 Women. The single Qualified however, had been 8 weeks in the Dutch charts, with 8 as its highest position in 1992. Martika had a long chart position in 1991 (Holland).

I think songs like the Glamorous Life & A Love Bizarre are in a different catagory because they were for his proteges, so it's still like his song, even if they were co-writers etc

There's songs people have covered by Prince that went through Universal to get approval.
There's songs Prince had written with the intent to be sung by someone else.
He gets money for both, but the first case he has no say in the matter, so it annoys him when he hears about someone recording his song after the fact.
