I don't mean to be one of those "use the search function" orgers but the thread that was started when it first came out http://prince.org/msg/7/3...?&pg=9 is a pretty good read.
Also I think the page I have started the link at gives the reason as to why the project was canned. Fuck the funk - it's time to ditch the worn-out Vegas horns fills, pick up the geee-tar and finally ROCK THE MUTHA-FUCKER!! He hinted at this on Chaos, now it's time to step up and fully DELIVER!!
