What have THEY done 2 his style, his rhythm, his MUSIC???

And if he really is ONE OF THEM, he can't b a musician then!!!

Prince chose to walk the current path he is on. We all choose our own way of life.

It's important to remember that from the outside, this all looks...hmm...a bit like his new path is taking away "our" Prince. In reality, what if this new found lifestyle has enriched his life, and that he loves it? Then what?

I too am a bit disappointed at the downplay of Prince's raw musicianship, but who am I to judge?

These are some of the best tracks Prince has ever done.
And the muscianship is to the forefront.

Prince is 45 years old. He's old enough and ugly enough to make his own decisions in life. If the JW thing is working for him now, that's his decision and none of our business.

I think TRC is one of his very best pieces of work. My brain has been filtering out the quasi-religious mumbo jumbo from Prince's music since the early 80s, so I enjoy the album immensely.

TRC is his best albums in ages - and the musicianship, in parts, is as "raw" as it gets - some of it is just plain nasty! (heh - this reminds me of one of my favourite Prince quips on ONAL - at the end of the awesome Blackwell solo when Princes cackles and then says something like "You know we ain't doing nobody no good!!" - wonderful!)

HRB - I'm surprised at you - how can you not hear the quality of TRC?

I hate everything to do with organized religion, but I think TRC is a masterpiece. I love this cd. The music and his voice are outstanding. I try to ignore the religious references and concentrate on the beautiful music and his amazing voice.

Well,1st of all "Rainbow Children" is a very good album lots of new ideas,mark my words it will b like" Sign o the times" everybody will catch on late,and then say it is one of his best albums.The title is the closest he's come 2 reconizing his followers or "Fams"as he calls us.We r the Rainbow Children because of all the different races of people who admire his music.Ms.badness when u get about 22 years old u will appreciate this album,right now u r 2 young 2 understand the messages and the truth he is speaking.He's older and wiser,there wont b anymore of that sex,lust,sex,do it all night music,its a new day and u better get hip,b4 its 2 late,we r living in the last days,read your Bible if u believe in God and his word and U will understand the direction of Prince's New Path.

I have to say it, ENOUGH OF THE BS threads bad mouthing JW's and how Prince has changed. I find it sickening that this is still being discussed. Give it a rest already.

Prince is an ADULT and he lives his life the way he wants. It's NOT your life, so stop digging into his.

Why don't you just enjoy the NUMEROUS cds available by Prince!

Everyone is right when they say Prince is an adult and he has the right to live his life anyway that makes him happy.

But, with this JW thing, don't be surprised when the fans see and hear less of him as he gets in deeper and deeper.

Someone told me he wasn't baptised, and of course noone knows what he is going to do next.We will have to wait and see.

At one of the ONA shows, Prince said I want to thank Larry and Tina Graham for showing me how to read the bible right and some people booed. Than he said sometimes I feel like I want to quit and than the crowd really booed so he said no more.

But, it is completely out of our hands, but being a JW is not like being a Baptist or Catholic, or any other religion.
It is completely different.

The bottom line is that the "Princeworld" that Kevin Smith said Prince lives in will be gone if he quits.
