Prince and open tuning

Hello Orgers,

Does Anyone know if Prince ever played guitar in open tuning (studio material or Live) ?

I don't think so, but I could be wrong.

There's probably some. I can't recall any though. Would be cool for him to experiment with some alternate tuning... See what he comes up with...

Given Prince's propensity to absorb different sounds and also his interest in Joni Mitchell's music, it would be interesting to learn if the time he spent whilst Joel Bernstein was with him had resulted in some experimentation of this kind.
