However, my true cup of tea would be Prince and Ingrid Chavez. It's a fascinating story to me, a relationship that began (as far as I know) in 1987 with the first recordings for the projected album, then Ingrid in Lovesexy, the Graffiti Bridge film, finally the excellent album in 1991...

I think the Associated artist thread needs the most attention, some Sheila E or The Time thread from what ever years would be nice. But....

We all should take part, in getting one good thread going, actually two one for Prince and one for the associated acts. "Lets Work"

But ofcourse OldFriends4Sale will dominate the thread with goodies . But if more of us stop coming here just for a good laugh or 2 fuss (lets save that just 4 Mondays ) We could keep a thread going with lots of info 4 more than 3 days. TOUR THREAD ANYONE???

Im aware of that, but honestly have ya been 2 the Concert Forum? Its for recent shows. There is no information, pictures or dates for past shows during any area before 2004. Were talking about threads in general in any Forum, including the Concert forum.

I agree, the Associated artists I thought we could do more 'outside of Prince' focused threads

whereas Prince Music forum GLIfe Romance 1600 Sheila E. since those albums are Protege albums where it's actual Prince + others work

MikeyB71 did some good A brief history threads

Swa did great Celebration thread that just discussed the albums

and there a alot of other cool and knowledgable and knowledge seeking members that jumped right on board

What a great idea nursev! I, for one, am always interested in reading about what Prince's associates and friends have to say regarding the time they spent with him.

I realize there are multiple threads regarding interviews and articles from the past, but I'm willing to read another just in case 'OF' happens upon something I've missed. Also, it's always possible something could be added; as far as I know Alan, Eric, Vanity, Lisa, Wendy, Dez, etc. are still among the living. Who's to say when some unforseen event may trigger a new memory? I know a lot has "already been told", but time really is a trick...

If OldFriends has the time and is willing to put forth the effort, who's it going to hurt, how, and why? Just asking.

I was wondering if it would be possible for OldFriends4Sale to put together a "Prince and His Tourbook," collection. I have only seen one tourbook and I don't even have it. If anyone could do it U can "OL4S," I realize how much time you have put into your work for Prince and the org.

I think OF4S's threads are very informative and he is posting the same type of info he was posting, before he became a mod. So I don't see the problem, and no it doesn't seem like he's taking over the site because he became a mod. It's better than a lot of the silly threads posted here like these.........

I'm not defending this type of subject matter, I myself find 99% of them to be awful and a waste of forum space, but until we have a forum specifically dedicated to Prince's Music and nothing more, then we have no choice but to be patient and put up with the less desireable (to some) threads. Also, all said and done, we are not forced to read or participate in such threadism.

As OF4S pointed out there were a few good associated artist threads in the Associated artists & people forums

OF4S can do whatever he wants here as far as I'm concerened. He is one of the few that actually elevates this site to a higher level. OF4S brings so much to this site that it would be cool if you at least kept your trap shut, or god forbid maybe someday participating in some positive way.

Maybe in addition to having a forum for Prince the Man and one for Prince the Music, there could be a Newbie Forum too... I feel kinda bad for the fan who just discovered "All My Dreams" when they get their vibe harshed by cynical old farts like me...
