I don't think there's ever been a definitive answer (well, at least that's known publicly, lol - I suppose Prince knows ), although it seems quite likely.

Of course he wouldn't have time to read every thread, but does he visit? If there was an oubah.org out there somewhere, would you visit? If there was a chiquetet.org, I'd be checking it out

If there were tons of fan sites around it might be a little less likely, but being that this is the biggest and most active of his fan communities (to my knowledge), I think it's a reasonable assumption that when he wants to get a feel for where his fans are at, he dons some protective armour and has a wander around.

(A counter argument is that he said the Internet was dead, therefore how could he be on it, etc..., but he did later clarify that as meaning, in his opinion, that it was dead as a means of selling music, but that he still used it for information)

All of that said, though, I'd be pretty surprised if he actually posted here.

Yeah Im having fun with the psycho smileys. I like em. I would definitely visit oubah.org...I'd be too damm curious I guess...I would especially mess with people who are wondering if I am online lol

He without a doubt knows about the Org, but I dont think he cares much. So Im guessing No! If Prince wanted our opinions he'd ask 4 them. Maybe his managment team does though

I get where your going, but look @ it like this. He doesnt have a FB, Twitter or Website because he doesnt want our opinions @ least not in this form, go 2 a show and applaud him im guessing thats the form he wants it in

If he did he could create an outlet or find a source, and honestly if he did take out an add/section in a newspaper about a million of us would be replying or subscribing to that magazine, not 2 mention searching 4 phone trees

The most hardcore and commited fans I know of never post at the org, I think most of them don't even visit here.

So in terms of Prince having an outlet (online, at least) to gauge opinions of fans who are at least committed enough to sign up to a fansite, this would surely have to be a frontrunner...

I suspect that Prince does not care much for our opinions on most things. But I think he would care, for example, if a lot of fans at a particular concert complained that they couldn't hear very well in a particular section on a particular night. He would want to have someone follow up and make sure that doesn't happen at the next concert. I could also imagine him going into Politics and Religion and posting something about the JW faith, etc., without saying it was him, just for kicks. In one of the "Internet is dead" interviews, he clarified that he was talking about distribution methods and that he does use computers for some things.

I bet he is aware of what is being talked about in general. I also think that if he got word that someone he knew had an account he would read what they wrote. Personally I also think he might check out the photowhoring threads to check for cute female chicks.

There was a person who was Prince (or pretending to be) visiting the forums, posting under 2 names, Planet Earth and Lotusflow3r.

I'm sure he tries to avoid it but can't help but check in once in a while.

This could be any one of us - I'm always very furtive when I'm on here because my husband would make fun me, I'd never hear the end of it. Then he'd go tell my neighbor.
