Love Crucial too, but I don't think it compares to Adore. Although, I think it should have made it onto some mainstream release, just not SOTT. Adore is the perfect close to SOTT. | |

I know what you mean. That's how I feel about Electric Intercourse and Extra Lovable, though I know these weren't official releases.
I also hate that so many of his great songs post Diamonds & Pearls don't get their dues (i know Crucial is pre D&P, but I'm making a point). For instsance, When Eye Lay My Hands on U is a potential classic, but because only us Prince fans know it exists, it will never get the mainstream fame it would receive if released at the right time with the right marketing. One of my friends asked me why I was such a Prince fan, and what has he done in recent years. At first I thought, "are you kidding me" as I ran off a list of post 80s material. But then I remembered who I was talking about and just shrugged my shoulders. It is what it is with Prince. I'm just glad I'm enough of a fan to stay in the know about him and seek out those great songs. | |

to your question: i dont believe it has ever been performed live. i would love to be there when/if he ever decides to play it, that would be a moment to remember. the audience singing along to a song he has never played live before! | |
