Every time there is a thread about being attracted to Prince, all the gay men say that they are not attracted to him. Yet the rumor that he is (or at least is bisexual) persists.

If no gay men are attracted to Prince and Prince was gay, wouldn't that make him the lonliest gay man in the world?

Are there ANY gay guys who admit to an attraction to the man?

I've just always wondered at this bit of (il)logic.

Hey,it would b funny if Prince was gay and nobody wanted 2 worship him sexualy, he would lose all his sex-thing in his music...No sexual attraction 4 him then...

I'm gay, and I'm attracted to Prince. All my friends think I'm crazy. I'm sure not all gay men who like Prince's music are attracted to him, but it is a funny concept of Prince hanging out in a gay bar, alone, looking around, wondering why no one's trying to hit on him.

The bar is playing dance music, a lot of Madonna, a lot of Kylie Minogue, the dance mixes that saved Cher and Whitney Houston's career, no Prince music whatsoever, and then Prince gets the idea... Hey, maybe I should court the gay club scene. Make some kick-ass dance music (like I used to) and release it. Then he takes another drink of his Shirley Temple, sighs, and goes home alone...

Thanks for your responses. It's just a disconnect that heterosexual men so often assume that Prince is gay (or call him that in an attempt to belittle him because they feel intimidated!), yet gay men seem, for the most part, not to be attracted to him physically. Would kinda put him in a bit of a quandry, huh?

And besides, I had nothing better to do on a Sunday than open a meaningless discussion thread on a completely irrelevant topic such as this! :LOL:

I am gay as well but most gay men like "straight Acting/looking men" its a self-hatred thing and I think they find Prince too strange or perhaps a little bit too on the fem side. He is not my type but i think he is attractive!

He's got a nice butt...it would be worth it just to hear him scream his falsettos while I'm, you know...him in the rear..

Have any of you been to a Prince concert? I have, and the audience is mixed with all nationalities, races, sexes, and sexual orientations. This is true of all Prince concerts I've attended. I don't think Prince is lonely regardless of his sexual orientation, no matter where he happens to be. Once onstage, he Exudes Sexuality that will make anyone quiver, no matter what their preference. This becomes more apparent with each passing year. We've gone from simulated acts of fellatio in thongs and thigh-high stockings with fellow male band-members to simple thrusts of the pelvis against the mike stand during the newest tour. Women & men gasped, all while he wore a beautifully tailored suit and tie...definately G.Q., and definately the sexiest, most attractive man Alive, regardless of preference. Most men can't believe the women's responses in the audience, because they can't envision themselves in makeup, nor singing in falsetto, and can't believe the way the girls are turned on.Most of the gay men I've seen who are attracted to him come alone, and want more showing of homosexual tendencies by him. Whatever his preference is at this time, he definately doesn't seem like he would ever be lonely. I envision him a father one day, and hope he is happy. Some of the most beautiful music he ever wrote came from a time in his life when he was happy, and in love with "whoever".

I'm queer and absolutely adore the little man, but would never get between his silky ones. It's hard to say why, but although I love the way he presents himself, his attitude etc, he just doesn't turn me on at all. I'm actually always surprised by the amount of women that get wet over him. My friends are always surprised that I don't fancy him, as I'm obsessed in every other way, and I'm really into short guys too!!

when i first discovered Prince -- in 1982 -- I definitely thought he was very sexy. then I pretty much changed my mind. because I'm a hardcore fan, people used to assume that i was hot for him. i'd tell them I'd rather have sex with someone more masculine and not so pretty, like -- Madonna. he's shorter and more feminine than I usually go for. on the other hand, seeing him face-to-face, he was much more masculine than I expected. still, I can't imagine sex with him. kinda like a Christian fantasizing about Jesus. Ewww...
