How many of you think Prince could handle himself without the help of bodyguards or weapons? I'm guessing that Prince hasn't had to get into a physical brawl with anyone in decades. Do you really think Prince could fight anyone pass the age of 13 & kick the living shit outta them [shit, I was 5'10 & playing sports at the age of 13 ]? I'm not sure...

I think in the Tavis Smiley interview he said he got into lots of fights. And also in another very old print interview. I think little dudes like that must know how to fight, because they get picked on growing up, and I don't think his mother or anyone stepped in all the time like they do for kids nowadays. He looks wiry & pretty fit too. I don't think he could win against someone much bigger and stronger, but I think he could do some damage, like a really ornery cat - you can crush it, but it'll scratch your face up real bad, so why bother.

What kind of a question is that?? Anyway, I'm a woman, so I hope it never comes to that. I'm a 5'2" woman, not super buff, so yeah, I think he could beat me up - but why?

He'll be more likely to take off one of his heels and use it as a weapon.. or just run away.

Back in the day he'd probably throw a few punches but there's a pretty low chance that he won the fight/knocked someone out.

Thanks for this pic! This topic was making me sad, thinking about Prince beating me up - a poor innocent petite girl! But now I have the image of him being a kitty cat, and now I feel better.

He could kick your face from a normal standing position, as evidenced by his deadly kicks at the mic while singing "Play in the Sunshine" and "Slow Love". He could also quickly drop into splits if you tried to punch his face and then rise back up and slap you, at least 21 times in a row... if he's wearing his steel reinforced heels. I feel like if you grabbed him by the hair it might be like "Saturday Night Fever"... "not the hair!".

I agree that he must have been quick - there are accounts of him being really quick in basketball. Also, those concerts, running around like crazy. Don't know how he is at 53 though.

This question is not based on the fact that he's short. It's based on the fact that he's short, scrawny, & rather feminine acting. I know very well that short people can fight, but Prince almost seems dainty to me now days. Back in the day, I believe he could have defended himself, but I wonder how he'd do in a fight today....
