So, you got them only because Prince got them???

God, some of you are just plain sad. disbelief

Yes I did! And not ashamed of it. It was one of the best decisions I ever made. I admire how well Prince takes care of himself. Some of U are so judgmental . If I see someone and like the way they take care of themselves & their regimens they use. I can do the same thing whether its an athlete, actor, friend or whoever. So who cares what U or anyone thinks. I think U a sad individual for even saying that. But I'm not surprised by reading some of your other idiotic post. U Troll

Yeah, it just seems like you'll do anything to be like your little hero. And, I'm supposedly the "sad" one. LOL! *facepalm* disbelief

I used to get vitamine B12 injections at my doctor's, as part of a treatment for

chornic fateague syndrome.

Twice a week, for about a year, then once a week. I should probably go and

get one about once a month now but I don't go in anymore since they tend to

give you too much of a boost, resulting in me not being able to sleep well for

a few days and being quite hyper during the day.

when I got 2 every week, the effect was pretty much constant, so it all leveled

out pretty sweetly. But with one every few weeks or months, it tends to give

me too much of a lift. plus, after a year of 2 injections a week, my arms and

my ass are pretty much bruised beyond return.

I've tried supplementing with tablets, but they don't seem to do anything at all.

I'm still confused as to why artists require them before shows since they don't

work that quickly, in my experience. It takes less than a day for them to kick

in, but it also takes more than a few hours.

And then I had the high dosage stuff. The kind you can only get in belgium,

which are 100 times the amount you get in an ampul in holland.

try the liquid methylcobalamin form of B12. You don't swallow it, you let it absorb in your mouth.

Yes, they're sad. But on the plus side, they have very expensive pee. lol

if you're not peeing out excess vitamins, you aren't getting enough. All of the guidelines for recommended daily rates of vitamins are to avoid diffeceny disease and don't even attempt to deal with the issue of how much your body optimally needs. Your body flushes out any excess (of water soluable vitamins), and does so in well less than 24 hours. So not only do you need more than the recommended amounts for most nutrients, you need to spread your intake throughout the day for optimal results.

I started getting them years ago after reading that Prince was getting them. I first was getting them whenever I had a physical, But now I administer them myself once a week. I just realized when U said U couldn't sleep, that maybe that is why I have insomnia. The energy from them is amazing. My stamina is off the chain in the bedroom. I can go for hours at a time. giggle

You best run out and get yourself some assless pants.

99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

Very odd... Eat a healthy diet and exercise. Becareful get your health monitored by a doctor. Pumping your body with needless medications can have adverse effects years down the line.

Personaly I would not and do not have anything unless medicaly prescribed to help my health.

[Edited 9/12/11 17:16pm]

personally, I thoughly research all of the supplements I take. I started taking quite a bit shortly before I turned 48 earlier this year. I just had my quarterly checkup last week, my doctor was amazed. My bad cholestoral droped 50 points, my triglycerieds dripped 20 points, my good cholesteral went up slightly, my A1C droped over a full point (and over 2 full points since I started - to the point my doctor says I no longer have diabetes and probably no longer even have pre-diabetes).

My blood pressure has also dramatically improved, to the point where within a couple more weeks I'll be off nearly all of my blood pressure medicine. We both expect that I'll be able to go off all of it in 3 months with my next checkup. I also have tons more energy - I routinely work until 2 or 3 in the morning on our company, somethign I had lost the ability to do as I grew older. And am as productive as I was in my 20s.

My "age related" decline in vision, which had reached the point where I was about to break down and visit the eye doctor for bifocals, is 95% better. And areas of my hair that were completely white now have dark hair growing again.

My doctor, like most doctors are trained to do, prescribed me medication to mask symptoms of disease. And increased the dosages as the symptoms progressed.

I did my own research and attacked the core cause - metabilic syndrome - head on with a array of nutritional supplements. I'm also arming my body to protect itself against alzhiemers, cancer, and even colds and viruses, amung other things. I haven't been sick one day on the past 7 months even though multiple members of my family have been sick during that time. Things I normally would have been certain to catch.
