First and foremost... Before any speculation, in all honesty Prince has always been a gentleman. Secondly, I have been a vegetarian for 16 yrs... a lacto oro vegetarian, which means I eat cheese and eggs. There are various categories of being vegetarian. The most important factor is no blood in the food, ie- no red meat. It is written in the Word of God the vegetation is our sustanance and that blood is not for consumption. This is how I feel and may not be agreeable to you; nonetheless, an offering of truth, only. Third and final... Thank U. Me~ Love4a1000yrs

This warped view of events may make you feel better in thinking you've earned yourself more god points than the next person but is just incorrect. Blood still remains in "white meats" and it is largely the protein myoglobin mixed with water that gives the red appearance to red meat.

Whatever the colour of meat certain amounts of blood will remain. If you wish to avoid consuming the animal's blood you will have to avoid all meats.

For stool tests that look for signs of internal bleeding, you cannot eat any red meat for something like 3-5 days in advance of having the lab work done, and you can only eat small amounts of fish and/or chicken. Eating meat too close to test time can contaminate and/or distort the results with a false positive. So yes, eating meat means eating blood. And while I am at it, ewwwwww. As of now, I am officially a vegetarian....

Yep and eggs and dairy will also contain varying amounts of blood too. It's kind of intrinsic to consuming anything from the inside of animals full of blood.

Eggs and dairy have some of amounts of blood too? I did not know that. I am almost fully vegetarian now (just transitioned this year...) but still consume egg whites and, on a rare occasion, real cheese.

Eggs commonly have blood spots in (tissue release etc) and of course blood from the udders of cows (often diseased) is standard.

Not to mention blood secretes all bodily functions. So all the JWs who want to avoid interferons (or whatever Prince blathers on about) need to go several steps beyond avoiding blood transfusions.
