Come Like An Explosion: The Brain Attack Remixes 1995

Stumbled about this CD the other day in a second-hand shop, it took me totally by surprise because I never heard of that project before. It contains 6 tracks from COME, plus Tsov, Walk Dont Walk, Interactive and Controversy. All of them remixed to full effect, more danceable, more electronical, more clubbish!

It's that kind of product I have been dreaming of for so long ... I have it on random play at the moment and it stimulates all of my funky senses, like nothing else I captured in a long time ...

Insatiable as I am I would like to know it there exists any similar output? I heard of the 'Versage Experience' but it's not nearly as good ...

I have this one. It's a bootleg containing unofficial DJ Remixes, unlike The Versace Experience, which was an officially remixed promo.

My favourites on here are LOOSE, where aggressive Prince-Rap meets Techno, and INTERACTIVE, beautifully improved with some dope house-beats without destroying the song itself, absolutely brilliant.

Wished these talented DJs would lay their hands on MPLSound, 2010, I Wanna Melt With U, New World ..... More face-lifting like that, please!

So are Kirky J and Prince's people behind these or are they totally unrelated to Prince?

Unrelated, independant, unofficial, aftermarket DJ remixes. No Kirky...

I am glad with the purchase but I spent only 7 Euros on it. Its a factory pressed CD, not a CDR. If you like to hear different versions of already popular songs you might love it, if you're looking for 100% P related material only you might be dissapointed ....

While we are on the subject of remixes....does anyone here know who did the reggae sounding Pink Cashmere remix? To me it sounds unofficial but I don't know for sure?

Whereas I paid $25-30 for it back in the days before the ability to rip, burn or download. The choices were buy the CD or make a cassette copy from someone and since I didn't know anyone that had it, my choices were reallly buy it or don't have it.

So, I'm glad it's in my collection, but, it wasn't worth the price...

Oh, don't worry about Bart, he is well known bitter and twisted drama queen in denial that he loves Prince...!! wink

If he knew the answer he would say it rather than refer me to google! What else are forums for but to 'discuss' and ask questions?!?!?!

Right! I know that reggae version of Pink Cashmere, but I dont know who's done it. I also dont know who are the remixers of Brain Attack, there's a little booklet in the cd, but without any names ... Maybe, somebody in here has more details for you. Good Luck.

Yes, let's rehash the same old shit for the 1000nd time. That never gets old. Who needs a FAQ or a wiki when you can ask?

Oh wait, NO ONE gave an answer, now did they.

I don't know what's so funny about Bart being such a sociopathic hater. It's sad.
