He's been saying that shit for years. Hm ...okay. Haven't listened to ONAL but he said exactly the same thing in the Lovesexy Live video. Levi was playing the bass and Prince said it. Could he be referring to a bass part. Just a guess. | |

I think he's trying to say that he's from Minneapolis and isn't faking that. In other words he's the real Minneapolis (Funk) thing...

Like he's always meant when he's said it, he means he's from Minneapolis where it's really funky and where real musicians come from. Sorta like braggin' or reppin' where you come from. | |
