i personally hate the term FAM. but that's just me..

I've been a fan since 1999, but - like so many others - it was the Purple Rain era that got me sucked in. And I do believe that the mid to late 80's era was his best artistically.

So I guess I'm type C.

i gotta agree with a lot of what skywalker said. hehe

well, i'm the kinda fan who feels lucky enough to have been a fan during the 1999 album era -- an album that hooked me on Prince for good after very first listen, then i enjoyed all the releases of the 80s, dropping away when the greatness of Lovesexy was not sustained or bettered, taking a peek at Graffiti Bridge, and then dropping away for good until I had a chance to talk with him a few years back... and now he has me curious and furious at the same time. tho here i remain.

I'm type C.

Do we get colorcoded bracelets or some sort of ID to signify our fam type? Kinda like a medical bracelet that states a person's blood type? If I ever need artificial respiration or something, I don't wanna get it from some D or F type... wink

(btw, I ain't no stinkin' "FAM")

I would'nt ever call myself a fam! Apart from it being a stupid sounding word, it means something very different from where I come from! I just call myself a fan.

Well at a push I'd say between b/c. Fam is a really juvenile term to describe someone who has done a exploration type of sexual type act (not full sex) on a girl. Its really silly but I would get some really strange looks if i described myself as a fam to people. You really do need to live round here to understand!
