Of course I know the long version! Don't get me wrong, the music is actually pretty cool. But I just can't get over the melody of the vocals. It's so stupid that I don't want to listen to it. Which is a pity because the track should be fun with all the dog barking and the silly lyrics to prove Sheena Easton that he can make a song out of every sh... thing.

Another reason could be that I'm just more of a cat sympathizer. For example I don't get that annoyed from listening to the meows of "Scarlet Pussy" in comparison!

I know there's limited space on a disk, but the full 12" versions of the B-sides would've been an improvement too.

Pope is obviously the weakest track but I don't dislike it, enjoyable enough. Space was of a premium and there are lots of tracks that were border line for entry like Girls & Boys, Mountains, Batdance, Money Don't Matter 2night, My Name Is Prince etc

Girls and Boys is borderline??? No! It's better than Diamonds and Pearls or When You Were Mine or U Got the Look.

I wish he would have included the version of God that was in the movie rather than the acoustic one.

A while ago I would have said Power Fantastic, but that has been one of my go-to songs over the last few months.

That was the acoustic one (in the film), the relased one was the vocal version. I like both versions but know what you mean.

"4 the tears in your eyes" is also a strong candidate for the weakest songs on this compilation.

4 that song not to be included would have been a mistake. Especially since it was included on one of the biggest albums of 1985. The "We Are The World" album sold 3 Million copies and also was broadcast on Live Aid, so I understand why it was included (weak or not).
