Sign O' The Times, Prince's version. Don't Talk 2 Strangers, depends on the mood. I like Come On but that's about it as far her NPG releases. Chaka is the SHIT!!!!

Jimi Hendrix was a great guitar player but he couldn't sing for shit. Chaka is hands down the greatest female singer of all time.

I want to correct any impression I gave that I am not a Chaka fan! I have been a huge Chaka fan since she was with Rufus in the 70s. I went to see her last year and she wasn't "screaming" any songs--she sang them the way they were meant to be sung--jazzy type to funk. The lady still delivers with class and style and hits all the notes how they should be hit!

I consider Come 2 My House superior to Newpower Soul. Wish he would have kept some of that stuff to himself.

Out of the thousands of concerts that I've seen, Chaka was the best. She opened for P and Larry and blew them both off the stage. She played hit after hit and had EVERYONE in the arena dancing. Even the security, police, ticket takers and the vendors at the food stands were doing the

2 step.

I thought it was cool that he brought her out and worked with her. I hope they're still on good terms.

Co-Sign I saw the same at those show. Chaka is a great live performer and those that think she is screaming on every song do not know her whole catalogue and I would not be surprised if they think all black females scream. It is called singing with some emotion and feeling instead of being a stone on stage.

Funny how back in the 80s no one had a problem with bunch of heavy metal guys screaming their heads off and if loud noise bothers you how the hell do you listen to popular music.

Go try listening to some elavator music if you ears are that sensitive.
