Maybe this has already been discussed but has anyone noticed that for the ONA Tour Prince has started wearing earplugs? Has he always worn them? And if not, why has he only now started?

Why is he doing it now? Probably to protect his hearing. I'm told that one can get special "musicians' earplugs" that lower the overall volume without killing certain frequencies.

I thought the "earplugs" in question were sound monitors that enable him to hear each instrument clearly and comfortably.

and if he did wear plugs, chances are they'd be v high quality and u couldnt see them anyway.
