God I hate that noise too!! Ruins the song!!

The drums in Sexy Dancer!! I absolutely hate the softness of the drums in this song. There's no ass in them. I love listening to this song from the soundboard Controversy tour recordings w/ Bobby Z playing drums.
I also hate the way The Stick's drums sound. Way too soft/wimpy.
I don't know if it's just the way they were mixed but those songs deserved better drum sounds. ~And even when I'm right, I'll be wrong...it's Automatic too.

You like ass in your drums????? I like it in my mouth, hands, on generally on ME, but to each his/her own.
I like the drums on The Stick. Very funky ass beat!

The ending of Everywhere on TRC is what the whole song should have sounded like it is only last for a few seconds that ticks me off!

eyewishuheaven said: I'm with you guys on the Pop Life sound effects break. Such a great song, interrupted by a random sound effect which so many people even today can't figure out what it is. And then he does it AGAIN on the fadeout! Fully agree! Such a shame... RIP Prince: thank U 4 a funky Time...

^^This and the "talking" at the end of Tambourine, I cringe every time. 99.9% of everything I say is strictly for my own entertainment

The vamp on "Forever in my life". I love that funky acoustic riff at the end. Also, that full on rock explosion towards the end of Papa. I wish he gave me MORE of each. Most things that I worry about, never happen anyway

I honestly thought the first few seconds of Wedding Feast suggested something that was going to be quite good, then we got.....well.......need I describe it?
Also, the heavy guitar start to 77 Beverly Park sounds magnificent, and whilst the rest is nice enough, it wasn't what I wanted to hear. So look into the mirror, do u recognise some1? Is it who u always hoped u would become, when u were young?

How he never, ever does the speaking intro into Let's Go Crazy. Completely looses the powerful msg of the song for me. Shut up already, damn.

He says "3121." | |

there's no horn section on that song, lol, that's just a cheesy synth-horn part that sounds like coming from a yamaha prs series or something i'm glad he fades that out

hehe thanks. I made a new thread about this because I thought no one was answering my question on this thread

i agree with ufoclub. But my favourite part is the chorus after that verse, exactly the moment when he says ''so beautiful, beautiful" using his deep voice. So evil girl, if one of us has a date,

The ending of ´If I was the man in your life´. I was hoping for a kick ass jam

His cover of One of Us. I always get really into it up until he starts shouting the chorus.
It starts off sooooo nice though. ~ I'D BUY THAT FOR A DOLLAR ~

The ending of 'Forever In My Life'. Such an awesome funky guitar ending that fades out. I nearly blew up my speakers multiple times trying to hear the last notes!
And the beginning of 'Lemon Crush' after 'Trust'. It's such an awful transition from jumping fun into screaming agony!

I agree it's WAY too short! lol It's Button Therapy, Baby!

I fully agree with the thread starter, 4.04 on Cant Stop This feeling, i love the way the tune switches at like 3.10, but that last bitfinshes just as it starts, i wish there was a extended version we could hear.
That dumb convo with god ruins temptation for me

maybe if Papa sounds like the end of itself (i mean the rock part), it would be better ? So evil girl, if one of us has a date,

I agree with Papa...that one stops just as its starting to kick
That high ass whistle in Black Sweat ruins an otherwise great song.
Fury...I had such high expectations when hearing it on SNL...then heard the 3121 version and instant disappointment ensued.
The released version of Computer Blue, esp after hearing the unreleased extended Hallway version. Stops way too soon.
With that in mind, the released version of Old Friends 4 Sale, when the original is SOO much better. Hearing the crystal clear released version then having to listen to my crappy sounding version of the original is very frustrating.
The darth vader voice throughout Rainbow Children.

Exactly! What I was gonna say. I hate it on "The Exodus Has Begun". I prefer the bootleg version which does not have it. It's wack, yo.

Any sound effect (such as car tires screeching to a halt)
Any rap | |

Any girls', boys' and other people's voices in songs. I mean talks like in Get Yo Groove On, Joint 2 Joint and other. I can debar Movie Star, bcus this is just funny.
I like Prince's rap. Tony M's too, if doesn't sing something longer like verse or two. So evil girl, if one of us has a date,

The way "Joy In Repetition" was cutted abruptly to segue (badly) with "We Can Funk" on GB.
The way "Crucial" was butchered for the release on CB (maybe just to make room for 14 boring minutes of "Cloreen Baconskin", absurd).
"Orgasm" at the end of the Come album.
The fact that there is a lot of 2000's tracks (NPGMC, Xpectation, etc) that are only on MP3 and not released on a normal CD.

alexnvrmnd777 said: 1. Sun, Moon, & Stars - the bullshit rap with Jafakin' accent 2. I Don't Wanna Leave You - fades out just when the funk goes into overdrive 3. Old Friends 4 Sale (released) - he killed ALL of the emotion out of the song when he re-recorded it 4. Billy Jack Bitch - should released the entire 7+ minute version with the entire horns and guitar part on the end 5. The Word - should've used a real baritone saxophone; would've sounded better 6. The entire 20Ten album 7. Love 2 The 9s - Tony's rap was extremely unnecessary 8. Venus De Milo - should've been longer, such a BEAUTIFUL piece 9. Computer Blue - the released version was triommed way too much 10. 1 + 1 +1 Is 3 - such crappy lyrics to such a funky ass song (even if it is Erotic City Pt. 2) 11. ANY time he puts "jazzy" interludes in a rock, funk, or pop track (live or studio) 12. My Name Is Prince - all of Tony M's "contributions" 13. I Rock, Therefore I Am - that dumbass rapper's, Scrappy Doo or whatever the fuck his name is, part Totally agree with this!!!! Would have been a Prince classic without this!!! But I stillblove the song! The best of a crap album. 14. My Computer - um, where again is Kate Bush? 15. Endorphinemachine - the added cowbell and turning down the guitar level
And I'm sure there are waaaaay more, but these were on the tip of my tongue.
