I think the actual song and music are awesome, and the female chorus going "noooow". I think the extra stuff is a bit irritating, and I know lots of peeps who just say, "that's stupid" when they here the music stop and the stoner voice "Light another one dude".
We DON'T need the word "Dude" said on a Prince album in a supposedly cool funny way.
Just bustin your chops a bit...one thing about Prince songs is we all love and hate different things about them. I personally am not a big fan of the album version of TMBGITW with all the sound effects. But I will agree with Javi...never got why he didn't put DOW or Acknowledge Me on there. Both are top Prince songs. But like Now, I am one of the few who actually likes We March...the one weak one for me? Pussy Control.
I totally agree with what you say about The Most Beautiful Girl In The World... but I love Pussy Control.

DJ's still play Pussy Control. It was the type of hit he wanted, just like Housequake or Irrisistible Bitch. The non-single but still active club play was what he wanted. |

I like the way it was preformed on Soul Train.
Mmm, it was not really performed at all though, it was lip synched.....badly.
that's almost everything on Soul Train except for James Brown. I thought it was entertaining, his live performances could sometimes breathe life into tracks that were hit or miss. |
