Ntohing to do with loyalty. One could say you're being loyal to Prince. In my opinion, Michael was more exciting, high energy, and is overall a better performer. It's my personal preference.
I'm going by what I've seen, and what has been said about that performance. That's by far the greatest Super Bowl performance ever. "All Along The Watchtower"! "Purple Rain" while it was raining! Come on now ahaha That's magical.
Michael performance was off the chain. But I didn't like the fact that he lip-sync.

To me of course. I'm not saying this is his best performance in general, I'm saying this is the best Super Bowl performance. Better than Springsteen, Michael Jackson, The Who etc...
No one can compare.
I wish he would've played "All Along The Watchtower" a lot longer.
I wish I was a fan during that time. I would've bragged to my friends about how great he is.
And I also like how he had his doo-rag on during the performance. Very cool.

Oh stop it little boy... there isn't a criteria that was met other than your own personal one. As a result, there isn't a best or worst - there are performances that resonate with people and there are performances that do not.
Your posts are idiotic and are flooding the board and ruining the intellectual discussions that sometimes take place here.

Lmao. Do you think the only definition of performence is "play an instrument"? Sigh. This why the Music and More section of the org is one of the worst sections here.

MJ's performance was very disappointing. And the lip-synching... a real disgrace. I saw a great musician with Prince playing his guitar live and singing live. Bruce was really good as well. |

Playing an instrument and to sing live is the best way for an real music artist to perform. Of course. The "show" aspect with great lights, dancing and fireworks is a nice bonus, but real music by real musicians is what really matters. It's the flesh and the bones. And that's what Prince delivers masterful. |

Hey man, it's all your opinion. If that's what you think is the best way to perform, then Prince will obviously be number one in your books. |
