Sure, lots of people here have.
But you haven't heard any story until you've heard the sand dollar story. Search "sand dollar" in the Search bar. I think the original post is gone but you can figure it out pretty quick.
That one, and the story about the girl that re-worked "For You" and tried to give the cassette to Prince are the best stories.

I have the "For You" rewrite thread saved on my computer. I wish I could find the "sand dollar" one, just for giggles. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

NObody will tell you if they did because its not safe to do so. Might as well be giving up ur social security number or the keys to your house. I'M NOT SAYING YOU'RE UGLY. YOU JUST HAVE BAD LUCK WHEN IT COMES TO MIRRORS AND SUNLIGHT!

Wasn't it "Crazy You"? And the girl was in a wheelchair or something? Yeah, that one was pretty funny.
Anyway, I met Prince and talked to him in 2007 at the indigO2, I've posted the story at least 4 times and can't be bothered to type it again right now cos it's late and I'm tired, BUT IT WAS PRETTY MUCH THE MOST AWESOME THING EVER! |

Talked to him for awhile with NPG members at the One Night Alone Chicago soundcheck (unbelievable!!!), got to sing with him onstage at the One Night Alone Louisville soundcheck (he brushed me off to one of the side stage microphones) and he chatted with my neices one night at the last Paisley Park Celebrations. Only some of the highlights of my life.

Alan Leeds posted on this website a few months ago, so I would say yes. The Census Bureau estimates that there are 2,518 American Indians and Alaska Natives currently living in the city of Long Beach.

Yes 8th October 2002 @ Manchester Apollo, UK. It was my my 20th Birthday and first Prince Concert although I ve been a fan since I was 8. I was in the front row (NPGMC and some good friends). I got to go on stage for atleast 2 songs, he let me and some other guy sing (prob sounded awful). I spoke to him, he gave me a huge grin and his eye lit up he then grabbed my hand and shook it! He was immaculate, in good spirits, amazing eyes, soft skin but boney fingers! I was a very happy girl for weeks!
Also met the rest of the NPG afterwards who signed my programme with lots of Happy Birthday Messages and I got a drum stick from John Blackwell
One of my Best Prince Friends got on stage with him at Malahide Castle a couple of weeks ago and manged to high five him too! NPGUK

I was standing behind him once at the Valrico Super Walmart off highway 60 in Florida. It was about 2 AM I believe. He was having a fierce argument with the cashier about the price of the ground beef. He was practically holding up the damned line.
Everyone behind me was getting pissed off at what they thought was a latin Prostitute, but I knew it was Prince.
Apparently the price of ground beef in Minneapolis is cheaper than in Florida.

At the Empire Club in Las Vegas (3121) I got to goto the sound check for the old fanclub. While I didn't get to sit down and have coffee with him, he came out walked thru (with 2 body guards) the couple hundred people that were there. Sat down in a booth in the club (mic in hand) and joked around and gave directions to the stage people for the sound check. About hourish after sound check he came back out on stage and played some songs (while sitting on a stool). Then he even asked for requests and chit chatted with the crowd. He came across as very personable, relaxed and had a good sense of humor. It was a nice experience and made me feel good to have been a fan of his music for all these years!!!

Fortunate enough to have met him as part of the 2003 Australian OnStage Xperience.
Chatted with him (no bodyguards or minders) for about an hour talking about music, creativity, setlists, past issues etc.
He was very jovial, down to earth and shook hands when we met. None of the "don't look him in the eye" BS people often discuss. "I'm not human I'm a dove, I'm ur conscience. I am love"
