If only Graffitti Bridge had a good soundtrack.

I bought Graffitti Bridge after loving Purple Rain.

I absolutely pissed myself the first time i saw purple rain. I couldn't believe how 80s and how big an ego Prince must have had. But as well as being amusing it had an amazing soundtrack.

Graffitti Bridge the film was equally as 'bad/amazing' (whichever way you look at it). Both are just extended music videos where alot of the time is filled with P miming along to tracks, but the main reason why graffitti bridge isn't as good is because of the music.

I'm glad Warner wouldn't allow Prince to make a film about the Time and wrote himself in. As otherwise this would just be really dull - as funny Morris Day is.

The one thing Graffitti Bridge has is a sexy lady. When Aura is dressed up in the black dress and with her hair down (not in the '80s lesbian-biker style') she looks far more beautiful than apollonia.

Although i'd do Apples - i just wouldn't call her the next day.

I actually liked Graffitti Bridge - the soundtrack...

not the movie ...

the movie failed - because - in my opinion - it was a long music video with poor lip syncin and no real plot ... now that i think about it ... even the dancing sucked ... Prince shoulda let a real director do it ...

the soundtrack actually was recieved well by the critics ... as far as i can remember... (i think rolling stone - not that they are the "experts" - gave it 4 stars) ...

at least Purple Rain had a killer soundtrack ... believable concert footage ... and a basic feel-good plot ...

just my op ...
