Lol!! I know, right?! lol

If anything, Kanye invited "them" but Prince was the main one who was invited and was supposed to come (cuz really, who the hell are the band members? They're nobodies!). Since Prince ducked out and sent his backing Vegas band in his stead, Kanye prolly was pissed and said, "Get the FUCK up outta heyah!!" lol

I'm havin' so much fun with this one, but I guess they (NPG) do have a right to be a tad bit upset! wink

Sort of, but not really.

I love the current NPG and don't like seeing bad stuff said about them, but obviously Pickles, like everyone - even Kanye - is entitled to their opinion.

The problem here is that Kanye apparently invited the NPG (regardless of whether or not he only did so to get Prince there), only to all but throw them out, of a very public event.

That's totally different to just saying you don't like them or they suck or whatever (which, come to think of it, would still be very rude coming from another high-profile artist if it were done publicly)

Folks here have damn near called the members everything except a child of God. Even spoken ill of some of their looks. It isnt just some simple "oh I do not prefer them" statements said while eating cheese with crackers and champagne. Now allegedly Kanye has them booted from his show and everyone is crying foul after weks of there critical nonsense. Its ironic as hell or at the very least shows how... hypocritical..critics are.IMHO of course.

Yes, Im aware. But inviting someone over to have them booted is extra special not one of the ways Prince has done.

Was there any point in reporting this story until he found out exactly why Kanye asked them to leave?

Of course Dr. Funkenberry can't do that. He doesn't have anyone in Kanye's camp feeding him "news" on the purple hotline. And he wouldn't go to the trouble of actually tracking down any other information.

I like to know whose post you are reading where they called NPG members anything but.

Only thing people comment on is how they are not great musically not many orgers make personal attacks against NPG. Very few Orgers have called them (insert Rude comment here)Yes orgers can be alittle intense but if its outline offensive the mods delete it.

Its like your hinting that its wrong for people to have an opinion.

You are totally reaching with this one bud.

-The title of this thread is disturbing because the NPG members are that bad musically.

-More reason why Prince should lay all tracks, vocals (background too), instruments and then some with his albums. nod

I love Kanye and all, and this story can be true, but it does not really change my mind on Kayne anyways. lol I love his artistic virtue to the addition of Hip-Hop, fashion, etc; but the guy can be really off sometimes. That is his persona; but what makes matters worst is that he likes to play the victim. He just recently; compared himself to Hitler, and constantly makes it appear as everyone is against him, and they're not. TRUE the media overblown what he did to Taylor Swift (Which I think was funny and genius..lol) Yet, that does not put him on the same level of his idol; Michael Jackson. All of his advocacy surrounding peace, justice, etc, becomes void in matters like this. As someone said if he did this to Prince himself, there would be a different story. I question if this happened actually though, especially if Dr.Funkberry reported it. Haha. I like Dr.FB but sometimes he seems to start a fire when there is no smoke involved. But like I said; if he did do this; that is very disrespectful of him, yet not surprising! He needs to rest his nuts and his ego. Haha

I don't want to say anything cruel about Kanye, but it seems his behavior has changed tremendously and is very questionable. He recently compared himself to Hitler, and seems to try and rain on others' parade. He knew by disrespecting one of the most famous artist's crew, may get him some attention and publicity. But he may be sowing his oats a bit too much and it will backfire on him and bite him right through the crack of his ass.

Seems like he's desperately seeking attention, no matter whose feet he steps on or which hands he bites. In any event, that was rude and disrespectful for him to show his ass like that, when others from the NPG were gracious to him the night before. Prince and the NPG could have kicked his ass off stage, but they didn't.

[Edited 8/14/11 17:16pm]

You are very indeed right about what you are saying! He does seem to just want attention so much that he goes through these extreme measures, it is ridiculous! It is very disrespectful, and he has done this on more then one occasion, it is embarrassing he has to go through these mediums so often and still convey the worst about himself. They should have kicked him off, especially when he was like say "Hell YEAH..." He could have came up with another saying..lol. Nevertheless, I agree with you totally. What you said; made me laugh! Haha You are real with this, I think it will backfire on him in greater ways than it is now. He wants to feed into this victim role. What is worst is when he likes to make himself in the same mold Michael Jackson was. The media went crazy with Michael Jackson, and really went into a frenzy for nothing over him. I don't even need to elaborate on that, but the point is, he by no means is in the same situation. He creates much of the backlash himself, he does not know when to shut up, and when to rest his nuts! Haha

The article contradicts itself. Did Kanye ask his peeps to tell them to leave and escort them out or did the NPG choose to leave because because they felt disrespected? It can't be both.

nod Yeah, exactly.

"Early during the show with Kanye on stage, Kanye told something to his DJ and told the NPG to leave. "

"The NPG felt so disrespected by Kanye that they left 5 minutes into the show! "

Also, the headline is 'Kicks Them Off Stage', but when you read the article, they weren't on stage, just sat near it. Bizarre contradictory story.

Less than 24 hours after Kanye West took the stage with Prince & The NPG, and as graceful as Prince's people were to treat Kanye with respect, Kayne did the exact opposite to Prince's crew the next night. We were told this news EXCLUSIVELY!

We were first told about this incidint last night by a few people who attended Kanye's concert last night and even a crew member. Members of the NPG, including singer Shelby J. were invited to attend Kanye's concert after Kanye rocked the stage with the Prince & The NPG the night before. The NPG were sat by the stage by Kanye's people before the show.

Early during the show with Kanye on stage, Kanye told something to his DJ and told the NPG to leave. Now, we can confirm Kanye himself invited the NPG himself to his concert, so why did he do that to them? It comes off as he treated them rudely while the night before, Prince's people were showing Kanye nothing but love and hospitality to the rap star and his entire posse. They even broke out champagne for Kanye and his people per his request.

While attending the show, he was even invited to perform with Prince as you can see in the video posted here. Mr. West was in the building and got major love.

The NPG felt so disrespected by Kanye that they left 5 minutes into the show! We reached out to Prince's camp but have not heard anything back from them yet.

It sucks to hear that they gave Kanye the VIP treatment at the Prince show, making sure all his demands were taken care of, and then the next night, in return, Prince's crew was treated like Taylor Swift at the Video Music Awards. How embarrassing for them.

So Mr. West, you going to runaway from this?-Dr.FB

Until the NPG say what happened, I'm not sure who the "few people" are that we should believe. The description seems to offer a very intimate description of what happened, and then speculates the rest.

Also Kanye is known for swearing in his performances, and i would think he knows it's no secret Prince is a JW and more than likely could be one of the reasons Prince may have chosen to not attend Kanye's show because of that.Just a guess shrug
