I don't want to say anything cruel about Kanye, but it seems his behavior has changed tremendously and is very questionable. He recently compared himself to Hitler, and seems to try and rain on others' parade. He knew by disrespecting one of the most famous artist's crew, may get him some attention and publicity. But he may be sowing his oats a bit too much and it will backfire on him and bite him right through the crack of his ass.
Seems like he's desperately seeking attention, no matter whose feet he steps on or which hands he bites. In any event, that was rude and disrespectful for him to show his ass like that, when others from the NPG were gracious to him the night before. I love his artistic virtue to the addition of Hip-Hop, fashion, etc; but the guy can be really off sometimes. That is his persona; but what makes matters worst is that he likes to play the victim. He just recently; compared himself to Hitler, and constantly makes it appear as everyone is against him, and they're not. TRUE the media overblown what he did to Taylor Swift (Which I think was funny and genius..lol) Yet, that does not put him on the same level of his idol; Michael Jackson. All of his advocacy surrounding peace, justice, etc, becomes void in matters like this. As someone said if he did this to Prince himself, there would be a different story. I question if this happened actually though, especially if Dr.Funkberry reported it. Haha. I like Dr.FB but sometimes he seems to start a fire when there is no smoke involved. But like I said; if he did do this; that is very disrespectful of him, yet not surprising! He needs to rest his nuts and his ego. HahaWell what the fuck y'all expect from that self centered fool?
He's been acting an ass for years. Now if Prince wanna do somethign right, he needs to get a step ladder and climb it and punch Kanye's ass in the eye.

Very confusing story - this provides a potential and very viable context.
How old is Kanye? I can possibly imagine Prince doing something like that at the start of his career, but I'm sure most people learn quickly in the kind of business they're in that incidents like this can come back to bite you, no matter how far 'above it' you think you are.
Not to mention of course that it's just plain rude.
As for the article itself, I gather that they weren't actually on stage to begin with, which makes the headline a little confusing. And the story was a little confusing too. But at least the important stuff was crystal clear - like the fact that it was an EXCLUSIVE...

The best thing Prince can do now is to make a multi platinum selling classic album. Kanye West loves to be on top, and he'll disrespect anything that doesn't aknowledge him as the king. So did Kanye get the DJ to say something to them, or did he say something to the DJ and then tell them to leave himself?
The most likely scenario is that Kanye said something to the DJ, the DJ told the NPG that Kanye didn't want them there (presumably because Prince wasn't with them) and then they left to save any further incident.
But that's just a guess of course...

Actually, I think the point is that in Kanye's world, it's the exact opposite; Prince /= NPG, therefore when he invited Prince and his crew and everyone but Prince showed up, he cracked the sads.
He would have liked to be able to say that Prince was at his concert, but had no time for what he probably saw as "no names" near his stage. There was no publicity to be gained from that, so he blew them off.
More guesses, of course, but it makes sense.
He has of course disrespected Prince in the process, but I don't imagine that's the message he intended to send.

Unless we're thinking of two different stories, I thought the story there was that Prince and Misty had a private box to watch the show (awards show, from memory?) and P. Diddy was refused entry to the roped-off area by Prince's bodyguards.
It could be argued that Prince was in fact disrespecting Diddy, but given that he didn't invite him to the box in the first place, it's really neither here nor there, save for a bit of a bruised ego on Diddy's part. Can't really see how it could be construed as Diddy dissing Prince though.
But you might be referring to a different incident that I didn't hear about...

Are you suggesting that what we perceive as Kanye having extremely poor judgement in various situations (including the other night with the NPG) is in fact the result of brain damage from a bad accident?
Surely it's worth him deferring to minders in situations if that's the case?
And why then did you have your knickers in a twist about him "really" disrespecting Prince by kicking the NPG out if you're now saying that his SNAFUs are basically unavoidable and presumably random?
