I know that these two albums sound similar sometimes, and I want to have a playlist that flows well from this era but I never make good playlists lol. ideas?

I don't think it fits in either concept very well. Even when Prince did the live shows featuring both albums the song was not a main feature.

I think Bob George is the lowest of the low, Annastasia is the realisation, and I know is the rebirth. Pretty much how prince layed out the show.

I love When 2 R in love, but I think it would have been better as a b-side of its time.

i wouldn't change either, to me they don't sound similar, Lovesexy is perfect as it is. I don't believe the whole Black album cancellation thing either. go through the whole process of pressing the album, cancelling it, releasing something far superior months later, putting secret messages in videos then playing tracks off the cancelled album on the next tour. i think he just changed his mind. The Black Album didn't have any hits on it, to the extent that Alphabet Street was a hit, which it was. The Black Album is fun just not as good as Lovesexy.

this is all IMO anyway.

I think some people are missing the point. Its not replacing, it just a alternative playlist folks....

Have you noticed the tone, notes, vocals of Positivity are very negative and lifeless? It's quite ironic. I think of it as a dark song trying to find light, but very zombie-like.

I agree. Its about holding on rather than enjoying. I always felt Positivity and Lovesexy swapped around might have worked better.
