It's not my cup of tea.

I like this song. It is like one of my anti-depressive songs. Like a 'wake-up because the early bird gets a worm' feeling.

I'm with you on that. The 'hook' is very interesting to this song.

I like this track very groovy and also 'Hot Summer' which was probably better suited to this years countrywide heatwaves. Neither got much love when they got released on here.

I don't even remember what it sounds like. I listened to it for a few times and never went back.

Yes it's a great album, I love its hippy and alternative spiritual vibe...it pleases me too that Prince was involved it that kind of thing too although I think he deferred a lot of the work to Michael Kopplemann for this album.

Yeah, I think Prince had a lot to do with the structure of many songs, back in 1987, but it was Michael Kopplemann who finally worked hard to get the album done.

At least the demo of Heaven Must Be Near is bootleged out there, don't know if that's also the case with other songs.

Don't let them say your paper's worth more than gold
I see a generation lay down before they get old
And getting endlessly sold

He's basically saying be young, stay young and don't act old before you are...I can relate to that a lot

Prince's music is very inspiring too. You are so on that outlook.

I also like the "I am here, where r u?" line which is reminiscent of the line in the unreleased Rebirth of The Flesh.
