I've honestly only listened to both of these albums once. I'm not a big fan them. But which do you think is the best of these two NPGMC albums?

Chocolate Invasion by FAR. "When I Lay My Hands on You" and "Underneath the Cream" are both essential latter-day Prince in my book. And "Supercute" ain't half bad.

Chocolate Invasion, because it had extended and extra stuff on it. Slaughterhouse was exactly the same stuff he'd released previously. Tight git.

I like them both but my favorite of the two would have to be "The Chocolate Invasion".

chocolate invasion. some of the songs might be pretty average, and nothing special...

but at least none of them annoy me, like a few on slaughterhouse do.

in fact, i dont listen to chocolate invasion much, but i know for sure i love gamillah.

Welcome 2 The Slaughterhouse! However I still LOVE "The Chocolate Invasion".

Let me put it like this..I prefer "The Slaughterhouse" because if the nostalgic feel attached to it; for me it has more personality and while a lot of it sounds as if it was rushed in some spots, they're many gem there. Out of the 10 tracks, I can listen to them all without skipping them. I can deal with "Northside" "The Daisy Chain" and "Props and Pounds" which to me are the weakest tracks of the album. However they are all bearable. I just love the sound of this album, it is also very funny. Peace being one of the funniest songs ever...Haha..

ENOUGH with the rant let me clarify the Chocolate Invasion is awesome! I love "Underneath the Cream/When Eye Lay My Hands On You, Supercute, and occasionally Sex Me, Sex Me Not." However everything else to me is not fantastic, I usually skip everything else. Never the ones mentioned above though. In fact "When Eye Lay My Hands On You"; is one of the best songs EVER! The guitar and everything is magnificent! I love "The Dance" better on "3121" and even the duo with Angie Stone does not talk to me at all. (It might grow on me like a lot Prince songs have the ability to do

So for this reason and more I go with "The Slaughter House" The sound, humor, and drum patterns are awesome...SILICON I feel is one of his best rap realities! The lyrics are clever, and it is just such a weird song, but that is the Prince I really respect and value so much.

They are kind of indistinguishable to me. I have three discs containing all of the NPGMC era tracks that I listen to much more than either The Chocolate Invasion or The Slaughterhouse.

I'm still waiting for seven (?) disc Chocolate Invasion box set.

Has 2b Chocolate Invasion just the song Underneath The Cream is better than the The Slaughterhouse.With songs like High and Vavoom/Supercute and The Dance Slaughterhouse simply cannot compete with tci.Hypnoparadise is realy the only song i have time 4 on Slaughterhouse and prehaps Silicon but The ChocolateInvasion is fucking class....when u think there r people outthere that havnt heard TCI....Prince realy needs 2 release this 4 every1 2 hear it would do so well its a great album,get it out in the shops Princey...

I am so glad I am not alone on "Hypno Paradise" I love the song for some odd reason. Even the corny-ness of it. So many people hate it..lol. I love Silicon too! The drums and everything..lol.

Imagine how much doper "Hynoparadise" would be if it was all live [instead of the dated drums he used for it]....
