has anybody rearranged their albums and replaced a song they didnt like with one from the same era that they did like? or even just gotten rid of songs altogether?

like, for example.. i dont like "america" so i replaced it with "girl" since it was its b-side. now i think atwiad is perfect, and i dont need to skip anything.

not that i listen to parade much (DONT START ) but i replaced "kiss" with "love or money," because someone suggested it a while back lol

i took the npg operators off tge, and "everybody loves me" off 20ten (and made laydown the first track instead of last, cause i think it fits better there). i also took 12 songs off emancipation and made it 10x better, imo.

generally i dont like changing albums like that, but when i can make them soo much better, i do.

aaand its kinda different but, i changed the order of the songs on purple rain to the order they go in the movie i did that a long time ago.

I never replaced anything, but I did add "She's Always In My Hair" to Around the World in A Day. Hold up, I replaced "America" with the 21 minute version.

I also took those operators off of The Gold Experience.

I replaced every song that has a extended version, with that version.

I used to do all that stuff, now I can't be arsed. If I think a song is shite, it gets skipped.

i replaced new power soul with the sound of a drum kit falling down the stairs, with alarms, fart sounds and screaming, and it sounded much better

the one i use is good quality. i wouldnt use it either if it wasnt lol i noticed that (i think) a couple of the versions of that song that were made didnt have the echo like the final version... i didnt like it that way, so i used the longest one i could find that had the echo.. but not the real long 14(?) min version.

ivault is what it is, but really you would be better getting your hands on some of the better quality collections that are circulating, Work It 2.0 (NOT The Work), and 30 Years Of Unrelased Funk are two which are pretty much essential.

No idea, download and see. If you are happy with crappy sounding out of date mp3's on ivault then stick with that, the others were only a suggestion.

ivault is really out of date, work it 2.0 has the currently best quality circulating tracks right now, and infact, 30 years of unreleased funk has even better quality stuff than that, you need both, and FBG's Box Of Chocolates.
