They're good for nothing but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down the stairs.

By Prince's own admission, The Time could... Yes, but time has shown that that is not the case. The Time is doing a routine that is 20 years old. PRince has reinvented himself so many times and continued to amaze. Prince gets $125 per ticket; the Time gets $25.

Having (relatively) recently seen both Prince AND Morris & the Time perform live shows in Seattle, I have to say, even though Prince has evolved to telling us that Abraham Lincoln was a racist, while Morris is still singing about how gigolos get lonely too, I must say at least in my own opinion that the Time's performance and the stage presence and antics was every bit as enjoyable as the ONA show was, perhaps even a little more so, because Prince was in the sweltering sweat box the Paramount with peeps crammed in like sardines and no A/C whereas Morris, Jerome and the boys were performing in a venue small and intimate enough that a lot of people were literally able to go right up to the guys and meet them, that is, if you could push your way past the large mob of women around Jerome haha. OK the fact that it was haloween and all the stellas were hot and dressed in white latex nurse costumes, too-short catholic school girl dresses, or basically naked, might have helped the good time had but honestly, at least in terms of how much fun can be had at a show, the Time still does give Prince a run, just my 2 cents! ¶ēą¢ė, Måĉ

The Time ARE a lot of fun to see live! I've had a blast every single time I've seen them. I hope they come back my way again soon.

A person who can compete vocally could be Maxwell. I was amazed at his live version of womens work.

I saw them at Glam Slam MPLS way back, and it was the same "routine"...it's cool n all, but you are right.

Theres so many categories. There won't be anyone like him (if u will). I agree. There need to be categories for comparison. Prince is unique, and there will never be another like him. As far as virtuosity and musicianship go, probably no one compares.
