Hi, I am interested in getting Official VHS of Lovesexy Live but I need help with a question. Is the official VHS For Lovesexy Live in NTSC also or just in PAL?? I live in US and I can only find PAL versions. Please Note: I am not looking for unnofficial versions, just to have this one question answered. Thanks so much for any help.

It was definitely not released in the US. The UK versions are all PAL. I'm not sure if it was released in Japan, or, if it was, whether it was PAL or NTSC. Also not sure if it was available on LaserDisc or just VHS.

Regardless, ALL are out of print and pricey!

I'd go with unofficial. I'll buy it on DVD or BluRay if Prince releases it in the states, otherwise, FREE!

Thanks for the clarification. Was the LaserDisc in 2 parts like the VHS, or all in one program?

I have never heard of a Japanese NTSC release of Lovesexy Live on laserdisc. There is a laserdisc available, but it is also a european realese and will not play on an NTSC laserdisc player (I have one).

Yes, seems it was in two parts on the one disc (double sided).

There is a tasty circulating dvd from Excalibur of the Lovesexy Live release, ripped from laserdisc.

Yes, I can verify that Lovesexy Live is a gold double sided laserdisc. However, I still cannot verify that an NTSC version was released in Japan. If someone can verify this, please post a link. I have the european release by Polygram Music Video (the only one I know of) and it will not play on an NTSC laserdisc player.
