I want to know if any orgers have links to where I can find the black pants with the buttons down the side of the legs and the ruffly shirt (i found one on amazon but it looked cheezy) and the long purple coat. A lot of these are special items so I thought you guys may have a better idea of where to look. And any ideas you may have are welcome.

Hey, if it's your wedding wish, do it up! Wish u the best with it. Make it like you and your bride are somewhat rulers of this Purple Paradise with doves being released during the kiss and everything.

Some satin in there too. If your wife has the body to pull it off, then have her in one of those lace pants that Prince wore (whatever color, or the black/dark purple lace pants he wore at American Music Awards or the I Would Die 4 U outfit pants) Also thinking of lace armsleeves lol, look I'm already planning ur wedding. let me stop while I'm ahead

Check out a good seamstress to see if they can duplicate the styles you want. The tricky part will be the coat. The pants appear to be straight but crinkled (gathered) at the bottom, and the buttons can be added. You might be able to find the ruffled shirt at your local Tux or costume store. Same with the lace pants which can also be sewed with a lace overlay on nude colored pants. Are you wearing the heels? Please be sure to keep us posted.

I read this thread, and started laughing so hard I was nearly crying. I'm sorry, it's just that I used to think about weddings like these when I was in my early 20's, and I wanted us to dress like Madonna and MJ at the Oscars and stuff like that, I still think it would look cute, but a little updated. But now, there's no way! Just be yourself! Study various Prince and Madonna outfits and take very few elements from them to modernize and get an outfit custom made for the two of you that coordinate and don't look tacky.

Seconding this. Do something original that you'll only associate with your day. The goofiest thing we did was play "Let's Go Crazy" as an intro for the reception and had our dance to "The One", but I think you'll wind up regretting this idea of yours.

Hmm... the 'studs' on that jacket are all wrong. You need gold 'pyramid' shaped studs, arranged in perfect rows. I don't know what those things are that they've stuck on that jacket...
