Lights, Cameras, Action!

I don't know about all of you, but I was just thinking about that exclusive video of the new "Prince DVD", and I really like how it was shot. I know people were saying that all they saw was a few guys holding cameras and no cranes or such things, but I think its a lot more interesting to watch. Plus I bet it saved him a lot more money too. BUT IT WORKS!!!

Hand held cameras ..yeah right. I can see Indy filmalers etc yeah. But actual "hand held " cams and no cranes atc for a major production. Sureee they do.

I agree biggrin I was talking shit, thinking it would be whack b/c I only saw 3 camera people. But from the looks of the video, it seems like they covered it pretty well. That clip looks great, I should have known better spank

Of course it would have been better w/ a crane, a cam on dolly & all that but the Alladin is a pretty tight venue. I can't imagine what the front row experience would have been like w/ a fucking dolly going back & forth. I saw people grimmacing @ the crew people walking back & forth as it was, it would have been a nightmare. The skeleton crew worked IMO, let's hope the (rest of the) editing is in good hands... smile
