To me this song means, and is so true thats women run to there : lady friends : with relationship problems instead of talking it out with with there man...that makes no sense to me....

They also talk about their feelings and other personal things that they should/can talk to their men about. Men also talk to their friends about their relationships, etc. Thus, communication/ friendship in a relationship is imperative.
