I would like it if he tried to push his boundaries more and tried to make some more great albums... I don't mean albums that are liked by only his fanbase, but albums that are 'different', like he did in the 80s with Purple Rain, Parade, SOTT and Lovesexy. I know people will hate me for saying this and I know I am, at 35, an old git that grew up in the 80s. But I think generally the quality of his albums and his relevance has been declining. Either he cares less or he lost something.

I saw him live this week and he was incredible as a musician and as a spirited performer. So definitely he hasn't lost his special touch and abilities. His albums from the last 20 years are mostly mediocre to good, but I'm still hoping for another BRILLIANT album...

So what's getting on my nerves is that he's still a phenomenal talent, but the albums aren't as special anymore as they could be. Anyone agree, or disagree?
