wait a minute, an official NPG video taken down by....... NPG....... ?
1. "Flashlight" was posted by Andy Allo from the NPG,
2. then the NPG Police removed the song, from Andy's YT site.
it looks like the one hand doesn't know what the other hand is doing..........
it's a little complicated.......

I think Prince knows exactly what he is doing. Andy is definitely not "in trouble".
This is a way of temporarily putting little nuggets/trreats out there, and then he knows they are not going to be up for long. I think it's great he is using one of his younger band members as a link to newer social media. He must be now well aware of the size and scope of facebook and twitter, and I think he is enjoyinh having a little dabble in it without having to have an "official" Prince account.
It will be interesting to see if YouTube is now the preferred method as opposed to streaming links on Andy's facebook page (which stay up for longer and can be "saved" more easily). Just somewhere in the middle,

i think that prince is testing the waters. in a post i made recently most people said they get more excited over soundboards than new songs. so maybe prince saw this thread and wanted to see how people would react.. but that's just me guessing.. [Edited 7/28/11 12:35pm] | |
