I'm not saying this to attack you, not at all so don't take this the wrong way, but who gives a shit what they think about Prince's spirituality or religious choices. The fact that they're even writing about it is just weird to me.

"I don't think you'd do well in captivity." - random person's comment to me the other day

No prob, thanks for the comment! I think it's a worthwhile subject to explore because Prince has music with a lot of spiritual themes and references. The writers address it as it appears in the music. I agree that it may be weird if Prince did not talk about spirituality at all in his music, but he does. So, I thought it would be interesting to trace the development of that spirituality in his music and life from the very beginning.

Thanks again!

Spirituality has always been the 2nd thing on Prince's mind other than pussy. He talks about it constantly, writes endless songs about it, etc.

Why is that weird? Prince makes it a forefront topic. Prince would turn entire interviews into religious discussions if he could (and he has). I don't follow how that is out of bounds with -Prince-. Others? Maybe. I couldn't give 2 fucks what book Beyonce puts under her pillow at night. But Prince? I don't care about his either, but he can't shut up about the damn thing for the life of him.

Why do some people get so angry when the subject is Prince's spirituality?
