No, let's not use his "team" as an excuse. He's just an idiot when it comes to paying people he rightfully owes. Plain and simple. And that's pretty ironic, considering how he wants ALL of his owed money upfront for any damn event he even thinks of participating in.

I agree it's entirely his fault, but I get the impression he cultivates an atmosphere around him that is not conductive to regular business practices, so this kind of thing probably does go on. I can imagine people finding it difficult to get paid and being passed on to different people, and Prince probably not wanting to be bothered with the 'house keeping', so things go the way they go. I get the impression he resents people like managers taking a slice of his pie and doesn't see the job they do as being worthy of that slice. I'm sure his staff do the best they can with what they are given in terms of direction.

Let's face it,Prince lives in his own world,where only HIS rules apply The people that he hires for services (whether it is bandmembers,lawyers,etc) should realize this before they sign on to work with him.

So he could have paid me $50-$100 grand, I could have saved him $470-$520 grand!!!!!
