Batman Vs. Graffiti Bridge: Soundtracks

I think Prince is one of the few artist I've ever heard of dropping Back-to-back soundtracks. So with that said...Which one can you most listen to all the way through [if you have to lol ]???

الحيوان النادلة ((((|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|̲̅̅=̲̅̅|̲̅̅●̲̅̅|)))) ...AND THAT'S THE WAY THE "TITTY" MILKS IT!

batman all the way. i hate graffiti bridge, the production sounds tinny and soulless and he butchers too many of his old classics. question of u and joy in repetition are top drawer though. batman's opening 2 songs are vintage prince, admittedly the rest is sub par when comparing it to what came before, but still an album i listen to alot.

Batman is the better film but Graffiti Bridge is the better soundtrack imo.

It´s

The Question Of U

We Can Funk

Joy In Repetition

Thieves In The Temple

Still Would Stand All Time

vs.

Partyman

Scandalous

Batdance

So it´s a 5-3 win of outstanding songs for me.

Graffiti Bridge is a bid underrated.

It´s a really good album released in the 90s with songs from the 1983-1990 period...

Batman is the best one, but it could have been a full on masterpiece.

Dance With The Devil

The Future

Electric Chair

Partyman

Vicki Waiting

200 Balloons

Scandalous

Batdance

His music should have been more prominent in the film also.

Pentacle

Graffiti Bridge of course

And to wrap up a few other threads:

Yes, it's his best album of the '90's

No, we don't need to take out the 'associated artists'-tracks (if only because he wrote and performed them)

And Yes, it is my Prince-favorite album

Graffiti Bridge in a landslide.

Graffiti Bridge is much worse than Batman. It's not even a real Prince album.

Filler tracks on Batman'

The Arms Of Orion

Filler tracks on Graffiti Bridge

New Power Generation

Round And Round

Love Machine

Tick, Tick, Bang

Shake

The Latest Fashion

Still Would Stand All Time

Graffiti Bridge

New Power Generation reprise

I would take both NPGs, TTB, and the title track off of this list. I also would add more to the Batman list.

SoulAlive

Batman.It's a tighter,more focused album.

GB has some good songs, but it also has several mediocre songs ("New Power Generation","The Latest Fashion",title track). The album lacks focus.

I would say that Batman has only one filler track: "Lemon Crush".It's the one track that feels out of place.

I agree that it's out of place (200 Balloons or Dance With The Devil would have been much better suited imo) but I like the track, so it's not filler imo.

i wouldn't class arms of orion as filler, after all it was released as a single. i'd just class it as shit!
