Once in awhile I get this crazy idea we on the Org should start our own preorder for Crystal Ball 2. We create the playlist for Prince's consideration, order taking, payment etc. I can see newspaper articles about our project, thus non members adding to our preorder of CB2. Prince sees our demand for CB2/bootlegs and releases CB2.

Of course, that would certainly mean someone's favorites get left out.

But just think: if this actually works, then there will be a part three etc. Eventually your particular favorite will be released.

(I do agree that some 'Christian songs' might help to convince Prince, plus the request to add some Musicology, Lotusflower en MPLSound-outtakes, to make it seem we still care about his new mucic!)

What you should do is start a 'We don't ever want Prince to release Crystal Ball 2' petition, he's more likely to release it then.

I think I only counted 11 people. I dont think that will speak strong on getting it released. Wow...once millions of fans..now 11.

For a tracklist, I'd rather have stuff we've never heard before. Or perhaps the albums that were supposedly mastered for the Lotusflow3r web site that were never released. But the only way it would possibly work is to let Prince select the tracks.

It would probably take $500k to $1milion to get Prince's attention. The question is how to raise that kind of cash selling a product that may never exist. Perhaps a better idea than taking pre-orders is to sell an actual product where a percentage of those sales are set aside as a fund to approach Prince about releasing an album of vault material.

I've been sending Prince my credit cards for years now, but he doesn't seem to get the hint.
