Prince has payed plenty of homages to Little Richard but they have been in manner, expressions, exhaltations. Little Richard has the greatest rock and roll voice ever and has ruined many voices of people who tried to copy him, Prince isn't that type of singer, different ranges, different style. To my knowledge he's never copied him but someone in a previous post says different so it's probably true.

If I'm not mistaken, Prince has said if offered he would like to play Little Richard in a full on motion picture.

he's too little and pale, prince is funny, i never heard that one. I also heard he ignored little richard when he met him at the premiere of Purple Rain. If I met my idol i'd freak, not Prince, he's nutty. He obviously ripped off everything he could from little richard going back to early in his career. Not that that's bad.
