Honestly, I've never liked this song, and I almost skipped over it on the boots I've been listening to, but this new arrangement has turned out to be the highlight for me of the recent shows in which Prince performed it, particularly April 21st in Inglewood and July 5th in Ghent. While it starts off deceptively subdued, it builds, gets sexier, and culminates with an extended guitar solo that is among his most memorable for me in recent years.

For anyone that focuses on guitar solos as much as I do, it's worth a listen, IMO.

... the LIVE versions it seems are far superior to the recorded / album versions. I gotta go check this one out, thanks for the headz up

love this song, the passion, the drama! the way it builds in a frenzied way, all anticipation on the guitar solo

i was lucky enough to be at the north sea jazz (3rd show).. the nite still fresh in my head!..omg!! the guitar was NOT the highlight! i swear i didn't know where to look

Love the studio version, but the live versions are just okay at best.

The NSJ gig version is sexy as hell.

The song made two appearances, but on 5/14 there was no solo

I love this song but the live performance he did a couple of years ago wasnt very good, it was okayish. I'd like to see a great live version of this.

Live version is the best. (Montreux 2009).
