It's my favorite song on "3121". Prince's vocals are so passionate and filled with emotion here. I adore this song. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

Love both versions and wish he'd do it live with vocals someday. When  go 2 a Prince concert or related event it's all up in the house but when log onto this site and the miasma of bitchiness is completely overwhelming! | |

I know I don't belong here (in this thread) but The Dance is one of Prince's all-time worst songs. It's one of those like Arms of Orion where I have absolutely no idea how he thought it was any good and worth releasing. But if a few of you like it, maybe it makes a bit more sense. | |
