Since there seems 2 B a lot of critizism about many of Prince´s 90´s albums and claims that there were a lot of filler tracks on his albums, which I absolutely agree on, I decided 2 take a look at his 90´s albums (those I know about anyways) and select the songs from that era I like and compile 3 different albums. The idea here, 4 me, is to say that instead of all the albums Prince did put out he waited until he had all the material and chose 2 put out these three albums instead. These are MY choices and my ultimate P 90´s albums, but I challenge U 2 compile your own. What do U think about these albums?:

Since most of u are just listing 90´s albums, does that mean that u find all of them perfect without any filler songs? Because the idea here was that u could create your own three perfect albums from all of Prince´s 90´s material. (Which also includes songs that were written in the 80´s but released in the 90´s)

My order is almost chronological. My favorite is Diamonds and Pearls, then Symbol, The Gold Experience, Emancipation,Come and finally the others, rather mediocre and disappointing.

Fair enough, but I have to admit that would take me hours to do, its not like back in the 80´s when I could list every song off every album I had without even bothering to look and by including songs written in the 80´s which appeared in the 90´s opens up a completely different process, I have a weeks holiday next week, I might attempt it then

I understand U, Whitnail. i know it´s hard to select the tracks. It´s hard enough for me who am, compared 2 most of U I guess a pretty nubie fan (only into Prince for 5 - 6 years), and with far less knowledge about all the material that exists than u probably do. I have a hard hard time compiling these albums myself. Also when I now realize that I have forgotten masterpieces like Nothing Compares 2 U, Open Book and Love, Thy Will B Done. And maybe also "I Hear Your Voice" IF that is a 90´s track?? (Anyone??)
