Has anyone checked out their local Target stores to see how many copies they have on the shelf? They have quite a few in my area. At least 10 at all times.

In my cities Wrecka Stows they have 1 or 2 or this cd.. and usually it's the only one they have.. I have to order the others confused And they still sell it at like.. 45$.. (so yes I jumped on that 1,99$ one I found)

Lotusflow3r/MPLSound is awesome minus Bria's CD. Both CD's have multiple great songs and are all unique. Boom, Wall of Berlin & Dreamer kick major ass!

ummm...

how is it charting on both the Top 200 and Top Catalog chart? I thought that latter was established to track albums that fell off the former.

so what are the 6 catalog albums that are placing above it on the Top 200?

I'm guessing the album, being two years old, is still eligible for Top 200 entry/re-entry. After it reaches the third year (in this case, 2012), it'll just chart on the Catalog side.

and it's pretty clear that this is selling on the strength of the media coverage over his completely assinine comments about Arab countries from a few weeks ago. and only from the people who happened upon it at Target during that time.

interesting. maybe he can actually sell a few albums these days after all, whatever the reason. shrug

Didn't he return to the Top 200 when he said "the internet was dead" last year? It's actually sad he didn't actually release the album in the U.S., he might've had a top ten album again at least. lol But he kinda blew it.

Of course he'd have had a top 10 album. A top 5, even. Musicology and everything since has acheived that.

Though it's not like the competition is that stiff any given week for a top 5 debut.

It wasn't competitive either when he made his chart comeback with Musicology and I think Usher pretty much dominated that year, didn't he? lol

And do you see anyone checking for Usher today? I honestly think some of you think you can change what is factual. The Lotus set stayed on the Billboard chart for a little over a year. It was not selling for $1.00 at that time. In addtion, to being one of his best CDs it had a long shelf life for a CD that received little promotion and no radio airplay. P was paid up front for this set and plenty of artist now a days would give their right arm to own their music and actually get paid a decent sum for it.

I think this says more about the state of the music industry then it does about the album.
