A Compilation GURARANTEED to TURNOFF your FrieNDZ If you could compile a small EP or LP compilation of Prince songs that are guaranteed to turn off your friends, what would the songs contain?
PLEASE NOTE: I'm not talking about songs you hate that you think would turn off the entire world.
I'm talking about songs, given the differences in musical tastes between you and your friends that they would not dig.
For example, I love Curious Child. But none of my friends would like it, etc.
My compilation
Curious Child Friend, Mother, Sister, Wife Soul Sanctuary Everybody loves me (I actually dislike this one as well) The Work pt. 1 (I can't think of any of my friends digging this one) 1+1+1 = 3. This one I actually played to a friend, and he thought it was drab. The Greatest romance Ever Sold (A friend of mine thought it was too slow)

A compilation made for scaring away friends is pretty damn easy. Prince has a bunch songs that is not pleasing to the ears of most people. When a prince song is weak, it's not just weak. It's very recognisably annoying and irritating. Something I actually prefer. He is atleast making something that demands your attention. Secondly, even many of his best songs isn't suitable for the average listener. He is just too intense for many. | |
